New Yahoo vs Gmail

I've been pretty happy with yahoo mail too. At the same time, I believe that gmail has powerful email tagging capability too, and I love the way conversations are kept together and highly intuitive navigation. Labels in gmail provide the tagging into folders - and the filter set is more powerful than yahoo - and gmail does a better job with spam as well. But my opinion is that of a lay user (email volume 20-50/day. I was a beta tester for the new yahoo email and they have a good product now, but need to still improve uniformity of experience across multiple components - try going to different sections within yahoo mail and they are still implementing to completion. But - on stability of platform - hats off to yahoo! No problems since 1998. And it has been my primary email for more than 10 years/ - Naren
