One of the reasons why Google began to gain so much importance as a search engine in the past couple of years was because it was accurate, superfast, and had plenty of innovative ways in which you could find the right search results. No wonder MSN hit number 3 as a search engine in search engine rankings, because people found the search engine result pages too cluttered and too many mistakes. Yahoo came out as 2nd in the ranking. Now there are some points, which are pretty good in Google, like accurate results, fast loading of pages, and even video results. That is the reason why Microsoft and Yahoo's idea of getting together and collaborating to make another better search engine Bing can be considered to be an extremely powerful marketing strategy, which is going to benefit both these giant companies.

Now Bing is accurate, it is fast, it has all the good things of Google going for it, it is using a Wolfram Alpha search engine platform, you can search for videos as well as images and hear the sound of music on the search engine itself, the marketing strategies being used here are endless and extremely useful. So as long as Matthew Perry is not doing the marketing again-- as he did for Windows 95 and somewhat made a hash of it--Bing , the brainchild of both Microsoft and Yahoo can be considered to have got off upon a flying start.

When these 2 giants get together, it is always good for the consumer, which means you and I. Not only are the results going to be more accurate, but at least we are going to get what we are looking for. We did not get it in MSN, and that is why we went to Yahoo and Google. But Yahoo has managed to scribble out that particular hitch in MSN and that is why we are going to get search engine result pages which are definitely not so cluttered and not so full of irrelevant advertisements.

Talking about irrelevant, the keywords are also going to show accurate content results and definitely not vague content pages, which was once the search engine prerogative of MSN! So all of us, nearly 30% of the worlds website viewers, browsers and search engine users out there to date , using Bing are real glad of one thing. MSN has finally got its act together, and decided to take the help of Yahoo to teach it how to make a real good search engine.

For all the potential marketers out there, this is extremely good news, because your website content is going to be indexed in such a manner that every single relevant keyword is going to be categorized properly. So that means you have to do a little bit of search engine optimization and make sure that the content is relevant, keyword rich and fresh. Then watch the traffic rolling in on to your website through Bing! Do remember to submit your link to Bing, will you?
