Yugma sucks! - client.properties error message

Yugma online web conferencing tool showed promise. Some of my colleagues have used it with great results and it costs lesser than webex or gotomeeting. It also has a free version if you are not interested in changing presenter or using their online collaboration tools such as whiteboarding, multiple user mouse pointers, Etc. Fair enough. You get what you pay for and just getting basic online screen sharing for free, that too, along with Skype Integration through its Yugma Skype SE is pretty good deal in itself.
However, that's only if it works.
For me, on Vista Ultimate OS, after installing the Yugma application, it simply fails to launch with a "Yugma cannot run without the client.properties file". I went in and looked at Yugma's installation folder at
C:\Users\Srini\Yugma\4.1\properties
and see that the client.properties file is right there.
I did a google to see what others say and this post about the yugma client.properties file came up.Great post. But it did not solve my problem. I had never moved my userdir and I still get the error.
I also used the Windows Process Monitor Procmon a great tool that has come in handy many-a-times (along with Filemon, similar tool for debugging low-level windows file operation). But that did not help me find where that call to the client.properties file was happening.
I emailed Yugma support a few hours ago. Will update this blog if they find out anything. In the meantime, if anyone knows the answer this problem, please post a comment and help us out!
Tons of people must be having this problem because if you type Yugma followed by a space on google, this is the first thing that shows up for further search options.

lease go through the steps given below.
* Click on Start and type regedit in "Start search" and hit enter
* Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVer
sionExplorerShell Folders
* Check the settings for "Desktop". In your case it may be different than "c:usersSrini"
* Please right click on "Desktop" and click "Modiy".
* Change the "Value data" to c:usersSrini"
* Close the registry editor
I did exactly as told but the error still persists. Wrote to Yugma - very slow support - still working on it. Sent them a screenshot of search results for "client.properties" today. Will keep the progress posted..
