CRE Loaded Coupons Module is Broken

Srini Venkataramani: My site is live at razzamatazz.net. Coupons are giving me trouble. The first three worked and there were several redemptions too. But then I tried to add one last night and I kept getting an error "This coupon could be used 0 times" or similar.
Srini Venkataramani: If I raised the coupon usage limit to 100, it would still not take the coupon and produce an error "this coupon could only be used 100 times" but the coupon obviously wasn't used yet at all.
CRE Loaded Support: I highly suggest not using coupons at this time if you can avoid it, the developers are working on quite a few bugs on them at this time, and they are going to update how they work soon in a new patch
Srini Venkataramani: Now I am not sure even the existing coupons work.
Srini Venkataramani: But I've already send out major email marketing campaigns with coupon codes. I cannot afford for them not to work.
CRE Loaded Support: unfortuantely I cannot control how long it will take for the developers to get them fixed, sorry
Srini Venkataramani: And like I said, it worked earlier and there were redemptions with it as well. And one of the current coupons seems to work too. Just the new ones don't seem to work.
CRE Loaded Support: I understand, but as I said, sorry their is many issues right now with coupons and they are doing their best to get them fixed asap. But at this time they are still working on them
Srini Venkataramani: Do you know what the developers are working on this specific issue?
CRE Loaded Support: They are re-coding how all the coupons work, because their is many issues with redemptions, using them with sub products, specials and many other things.
Not a good thing for all the hundreds of CRE Loaded carts out there that have already used coupons or planning to. This gave me a major headache and I am already using coupons and have customers waiting to redeem their coupons. I am also kinda bummed that there was no major announcement about this issue on the forums or via email to existing customers.
For now, TRY NOT USING A COUPON IN COMBINATION WITH A SPECIAL. That may resolve some of your issues.
Thankfully, their developers are working on it and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
